If you are a football fan or you just like the action that big games bring, chances are pretty good you will be watching tomorrow night’s Super Bowl game between the New England Patriots and the Philadelphia Eagles. But, what happens if you are traveling? Sure, airlines like JetBlue have you covered with their free, live TV but internationally, it can be a bit more difficult.
Flying Internationally During the Super Bowl? Turkish Airlines Will Be Live Streaming the Game
Turkish Airlines is going to make it easy for you if you are traveling with them as they will be live streaming the game to all of their planes with in-flight internet. Since Turkish Airlines flies to more international destinations than any other airline, chances are pretty good that there will be international travelers that will be very happy to take advantage of this free live stream.
This is a pretty nice move by Turkish, especially since they look at “football” the way just about every other country in the world does – as the game of soccer. 🙂 But they recognize that many of their customers are NFL fans and this will make it easier for them to enjoy the game even if they are in the air. Plus, Turkish is a really great airline to fly on anyway – whether you are in economy or business class!

This is not big deal. Turkish airline has the satalite channel sports 24. A bunch of their airlines also carry sports24. See list here http://www.sport24-tv.com/partners
I know they have live TV, I just was watching it last night on one of their planes again. But, I have never seen a US sporting event live on their planes. Maybe it is different in that Sports24 does carry the Super Bowl?
