Starting February 1, World of Hyatt credit cardholders can earn up to 5,000 bonus points for using the card more often. This is a nice move by Chase/Hyatt to get you to move that card to the front of the wallet in exchange for you getting more points as a result.
World of Hyatt Credit Card Promo – Up to 5,000 Bonus Points
Starting today, you can register for this new promo (you must register between January 28 and February 28). But, only transactions made between February 1 – 28 will count for this special promotion! As far as transactions, an eligible transaction includes card payments made with Swipe, Contactless, Tap and Pay, Apple Pay, Digital Wallet, reoccurring transactions, and more. Basically, if you can use your card someplace, it is going to work!
If you have been an original Hyatt credit cardholder, you can still use that card while you wait for your World of Hyatt card to arrive.
Here is how you will earn the bonus points:
- Make 10 transactions = earn 1,000 bonus points
- Make 15 transactions = earn 1,500 bonus points
- Make 25 transactions = earn 2,500 bonus points
- Make 50+ transactions = earn 5,000 bonus points
Basically, you will earn an extra 100 World of Hyatt points for every time you use your card (if you meet the various thresholds). There is a minimum transaction amount of $1.00 but pretty much everything costs more than that so you are good to go! 🙂 If you can use your card an average of 2 times per day, you will easily see the 50 transaction threshold, earning yourself an extra 5,000 points when it is all said and done.
