There is a wide range of quality when it comes to noise cancelling headphones. While there may be a set on sale for under $50, that may not be as great of a deal as one that is one sale for $199 because of the factors like comfort, features, quality of noise cancellation, battery life, build quality, etc. So, I will break this down into the Budget category of deals under $100 and the rest.

Soundcore is made by Anker. I love Anker products and they have done very well for me. I reviewed some Anker noise cancelling headphones a few years ago and you can read that here. Basically, if you travel a couple of times a year and want noise cancelling headphones for those trips or need them for short periods around the home or office, the Q20 series will be fine. But, beyond that, you may be disappointed. Still, for $37, many will be fine with the disappointment!

Also, when a headphones say they are “hybrid” active noise cancelling, that normally means that they are using active noise cancellation (which is where they are using electronics to cancel out the noise that the microphones are picking up) and passive noise cancellation which is the seal that the headphones themselves make when on your ears.

Now, make sure you check because some of these headphones may have Used deals from Amazon Resale with up to 30% off. I would personally skip any earbuds like that since I don’t want ones that someone else had in their ears (you can always buy new tips but you may be close to full price then).

Also check because if you have the Amazon Prime card, you could get up to 15% back in reward points when you use it. Some of these headphones are certainly better than others in terms of qualities and features but some have convenience as well. For example, from what I have experienced in older models, the Sony WH-1000XM series are better than the Apple AirPods Max in many ways but they don’t sync as seamlessly with Apple devices across your ID as the AirPods do. Personally, for travel, I would go with Bose or Sony since they can fold up small and the AirPods Max do not fold.
