As I have said before, Garmin had made it a bit confusing with their Fenix 6 series of watches. First you have the Fenix 6s / Fenix 6 / Fenix 6X and those three versions are the first step in picking your watch. The “S” is a 42mm watch, the plain “6” is a 47mm and the “X” is a 51mm.

From there, you have the “basic” Fenix 6 models which lack the built-in maps and music storage. The “Pro” models introduce both of those things and give you everything the rest of the lineup has.

But, then you have the “Sapphire” models which are Pro models with a Sapphire crystal instead of Gorilla Glass. These are typically $100 more than the Pro models and I can tell you – it is absolutely worth it! I have owned my Garmin Fenix 6 Sapphire for over 2 years and there is not a single, tiny scratch on the watch in spite of some serious knocks it has had.

From there, we get to the Sapphire and Titanium models. These have the same Sapphire glass but also have the body out of titanium which makes for a lighter watch. Then you get into the Solar models but those are not on sale today.

What is on sale is the Pro, the Sapphire, and the Sapphire+Titanium models at $50 less than they were for Black Friday. These are likely the last great prices we are going to see on these and could be something of a clearance sale since it is expected the Fenix 7 will come out early in 2022.
