With the addition of over 50 luxury hotels to the Hyatt system, all World of Hyatt members are about to get some great benefits. Even non-elite members will get elite-level benefits at these luxury hotels! Find out what to expect!

Yesterday, I wrote about how Hyatt has integrated the first 54 Small Luxury Hotels into the World of Hyatt platform. The SLH brand has over 500 hotels so there will be many more hotels added into the Hyatt system over the next year.

Along with the first 54 hotels, Hyatt also revealed the benefits that World of Hyatt members will get when making reservations through World of Hyatt – and they are pretty great for everyone! In fact, it could be more beneficial for non-elite Hyatt members to stay at these new (to Hyatt) hotels than actual Hyatt brands.

Here is what World of Hyatt members get with these 54 luxury hotels when booking through World of Hyatt:

  • Complimentary continental breakfast
  • Complimentary Wi-Fi
  • Early check-in 12:00pm (based on availability at check-in)
  • Late check-out 2:00pm (based on availability at check-in)
  • One category room upgrade (based on availability at check-in)

To get these benefits, you simply need to book any of these newly added Small Luxury Hotel properties through Hyatt and be a World of Hyatt member.

These are benefits that only Globalist members would get at Hyatt-branded properties, especially the breakfast and category upgrade! These are pretty nice to have and should encourage many people to choose these properties when traveling.

Remember, as of right now, these 54 properties are mostly in Europe (concentrated to a few countries with United Kingdom, Greece and Italy getting many) and Malaysia. However, the list will be expanded and should provide some excellent choices for World of Hyatt members.

I will be trying out and reviewing one of these properties soon (just want to wait for January so it counts for next year’s elite status 🙂) and will be reporting back as to how well these benefits are acknowledged and processed.

  • Charlie, if I book a 47-sq-meter villa at the Gaya Island Resort in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia for $285 a night, I’ll be upgraded to a $788 two bedroom, 188-sq-meter suite with a lounge, dining area, deck, and outdoor bath on the balcony?
