Emirates recently joined American Express as a Membership Rewards transfer partner. This is good news for those wish to fly on Emirates! There are fuel surcharges present on Emirates award tickets, but if you don’t mind paying that, it is a great way to go.
First Class Suite on Emirates A380
American Express and Emirates have launched a 25% transfer bonus to Emirates from today (November 8) through November 22. To fly the route of JFK to Milan, the round-trip, first class cost is 135,000 miles. With this transfer bonus, you would need to transfer 108,000 American Express Membership Reward points to enjoy it. To fly Singapore Airlines suites class from JFK to Frankfurt costs 114,000 points. To experience the best of Emirates, you will need to fly out of Dubai to get access to the first class terminal/lounge and fly the the A380 (with the showers!).
