What’s On Your Calendar?

As we are inside of spring now (whether the weather knows it or not!), many of you are in training phases for races this spring or summer. I am curious what races you have on your calendar already or are thinking of putting on the calendar? Local races, races in a neighboring city, races in another state/country – what is on your list?

I am getting close to putting a (hopeful) PR marathon on my calendar. I need to figure somethings out first and see if the schedule will work for me. Other than that, I actually only have the Thessaloniki Half Marathon this October (you have to try that one – look for a review next week!). I know, it is pretty empty to only have one race! I remember the days when I used to have 4 or 5 marathons already on the books and registered for. I remember thinking that I was writing checks that my legs might not be able to pay! 🙂

However, I am really trying to nail some PRs and work on my form so that means reducing some of the races I would normally do so that I can train properly and specifically for the time goals.

That being said, there are some amazing races this spring and summer all over the US! So, tell us what is on your calendar for races?
