I always enjoy hearing about other people’s travel habits – you know, their hotel preferences, their packing styles, where they like to sit on planes, their approaches to seeing a city, etc. For people that travel as much as professional baseball players, it is interesting to hear from them what things they enjoy and how they handle the travel part of their jobs. Of course, making over $12 million per year can help with making the whole traveling experience more comfortable, but still an interesting watch!
Travel Pros – Baseball Players And Their Travel Habits
These videos are presented by Hyatt Place and they have weekly videos with various baseball players. Starting at the beginning, here is the list of players along with the links to their videos:
- Derek Holland, Pitcher for the Texas Rangers
- John Smoltz, former Pitcher for Atlanta Braves
- Tim Hudson, Pitcher for the San Francisco Giants
- Frank Thomas, former First Baseman for the Chicago White Sox
- David Wright, Third Baseman for the New York Mets
- Johnny Damon, Outfielder
I like Johnny Damon’s plan of hitting the streets with a bicycle when visiting a city! Of course, in my case, I enjoy hitting the streets running instead. 🙂
