Last year, Southwest was able to start flying out of Dallas’ Love Field with the clearance from the Wright Amendment and they have really hit it hard. They added 15 destinations from Dallas in the course of a few weeks of the appeal of the Wright Amendment and now they are adding 10 more cities this April. Press release about new flights here.
Southwest Adding 10 Cities From Dallas Starting At $44
The cities that Southwest will be flying to from Dallas Love Field as of April 8 are:
-
Charleston (starting April 11) with one-way travel as low as $89
-
Columbus with one-way travel as low as $69
-
Indianapolis with one-way travel as low as $69
-
Memphis with one-way travel as low as $49
-
Milwaukee with one-way travel as low as $69
-
Panama City Beach with one-way travel as low as $69
-
Portland, Ore. with one-way travel as low as $99
-
Sacramento with one-way travel as low as $99
-
San Jose, CA. with one-way travel as low as $99
-
Seattle/Tacoma with one-way travel as low as $99
Southwest says that this will mark 43 destinations that will be linked to Dallas when all of these cities come online. Good news for the residents of Dallas and those who visit! It is also important as Dallas has many flights to Southwest’s international destinations.
Fares Bookable Now
These fares to/from these cities and Dallas are now bookable. While Southwest said that the fares would be “from $49” I found many dates with Memphis that are actually coming in at $44 instead, so we’ll go with that. 🙂
