This is Part 12 of my Dubai Marathon Trip review – this time about the (unexpected) stay at the Hilton Paris Charles De Gaulle Airport Hotel. As I mentioned in my previous part, this was unplanned but was courtesy of British Airways.

British Airways gave me my hotel certificate as well as vouchers for dinner and breakfast at the hotel. I had to take a short shuttle ride to the hotel. I walked right by a SPG hotel (which was located in the airport, terminal 2) – it would have been nice to have stayed there on the property! Instead, it was just a short ride to the hotel.
After check-in, I went up to my room. The restaurant was still open for a couple of hours but, while I would have loved to have had my complimentary dinner there, I had eaten too much already that day! My room was very nice and spacious (for a European hotel).
This Hilton runs around $270 per night. The rooms are nice sized, the lobby is also very spacious. There is a fitness center and pool at the hotel. Unfortunately, I was not able to see much of the hotel since I got in late and left early. I can tell you the bed was very comfortable!
The breakfast the next morning was excellent. It was a very good buffet with the normal hot breakfast buffet food. It was even nicer since it was free!
The shuttle left every 30 minutes and I didn’t want to wait until the next one, so I took the train over instead. It did not take that long (a few minutes) to arrive at the airport. All in all, this was a very convenient hotel!
