Just like the earlier post about the Delta Platinum card offers, Amex has also upped their Delta Gold card offers as well. For many, this should be a better offer than the Platinum card offers since there is no annual fee the first year and you only are missing out on 10,000 award miles. If you chase elite status with Delta, than the Platinum card is right for you. Otherwise, (or, in addition!) give the Delta Gold card offers a look.

Analysis
As with the Delta Platinum card offers, these are incredibly strong offers, even with Delta’s continual change of awards to their now non-existent (public) award chart. The good news is that you can still redeem at economy level with great value and there are often award sales that Delta runs that can increase your ability to get more value.
Mile Value
With Delta’s Pay-With-Miles feature, you get 1 cent per mile valuation. This means that, at the minimum, you get $600 in straight award value with each of these cards. With the frequent fare sales on travel to Europe in the sub-$400 range, this is 1.5 roundtrip tickets to Europe from major US cities for just one credit card offer!
$50 Statement Credit
Finally, the statement credits can be triggered with any Delta purchase, including those of gift cards. That means you are getting another $50 per card in free Delta money. Again, not bad at all!
So, what value would I put on one of the above cards? I would say that each card would be worth – at a minimum – $640 (all depending on how you typically use your award miles). Since the $95 annual fee is waived the first year, you are looking at a credit card bonus offer that is giving you at least $640 in value. That is a strong offer, especially since it is only a little less than the Delta Platinum card offers!
Raking in the Value
If you are new to Delta and American Express cards (yes, there are still some that are!), there is a lot of value to be had here! If you currently do not have any American Express credit cards, you could (technically) get all 4 of these Delta Amex cards. That would total 260,000 in award miles and almost give you Delta Silver elite status while also giving you $300 in statement credits for Delta purchases. That is a ton of value but will require a lot of spending – like $16,000 in 4 months kind of spending! Still, if that is something you can comfortably do, it may be worth running the table with Delta and Amex!
Remember, if you had one of the above cards you cannot get that same card again for the bonus. But, if you had the personal Delta Platinum, for example, you can still get the bonus for the business one or the Gold Delta cards.

I have the 40K+50$ statement credit referrel offer for 1000$ spend.
It’s so bad with Delta I had to stop for a second to think if the $50 credit was worth more than the 60k in points. Sad. I guess if you’re hub captive by Delta this is a good deal.
Sorry to sound negative.
Haha! I hear that!
