The IHG card is definitely one of the best, ongoing hotel cards to have. With its low $49 annual fee, you receive a free night each year as well as a 10% rebate on points used (see: 3 Great Reasons to Keep the IHG Card). This card has been known to have the great offer of 80,000 points + $50 statement credit but I just received an even better one – 100K IHG points! Unfortunately, it is targeted. But, read below to see what the details are and what to search for in your e-mail in case you may have missed it!

There was a 100K IHG point offer that came around a few months ago and it was easier to get the whole 100K points than it is this time. But, I wasn’t targeted in that one and I am targeted for this one!

So, the total amount of points you can get from this offer after meeting the spending and adding everything together is 115,000 IHG points plus another 11,500 points as you use those up, thanks to the 10% rebate part of the card. This is a pretty solid offer – if you were targeted.

Takeaway
Is this a good deal? If you were targeted, I would definitely consider applying. Even with the IHG changes on many of their nice properties in the points categories, IHG Point Breaks are still a very impressive way to realize big value. With those nights being only 5,000 points per night, you have enough for 20 nights with this offer!
Also, it is a great card to have for the annual free night. If you kept your points until your first account anniversary, you would be able to get 3 nights at a hotel that costs 50,000 points per night (if you used your free night for one of the nights) which could help to make that night more valuable than a single night someplace.
