Alaska Airlines sent out an e-mail today to notify of a fall sale on awards. If you are in one of the targeted cities of the sale, you can get a great discount on the amount of miles required to fly between these cities. One of the most interesting ones is San Jose to Kona for only 12,500 miles one way!

The sale is available for a variety of cities with dates stretching into December. Check out the sale page – here – to search for your cities of interest. The sale prices range from 5,000 miles one way to 12,500 miles one way (for city pairs like San Jose to Kona, Hawaii). There are a lot of options available and this is a chance to give your Alaska Airline miles a ride for less!

Here are the fare rules:

Fare Rules: Purchase by 11:59 PM (PT) on September 13, 2015. Travel is valid between September 9, 2015 and December 16, 2015. Blackout dates: November 20 – December 1, 2015. Bag fees may apply for checked baggage. See bottom of page for full terms and conditions.
