First – Manufacturer Refurbished

I am actually a big proponent of buying refurbished products – from some manufacturers. One of those is Bose. I have owned several refurbished pieces of gear from them and they have all performed wonderfully. In many cases (especially from a company like Bose), it can be a great deal to buy refurb because you are getting something that was gone over by a human (not just a machine) and every part replaced that didn’t measure up to spec – and that includes the ear cups!

So, these are directly from Bose so I consider this a great deal. Also, they come in the original packaging!

Second – Great Noise Cancelling Headphones at a Steal!

A couple of years ago, it was possible to stack deals on Amazon Prime Day to get new Bose QuietComfort 25 headphones for about the same price as this. But, I haven’t seen this in a while and these headphones still command a decent price (currently $149 brand new). These are still great headphones, even in the day of wireless.

They take a regular AAA battery and they come with a cord. That means it is an easy hookup when connecting to an airplane entertainment system. Do notethese particular headphones are only available with Apple wiring – this means that the controls will work for Apple devices but not with other devices for things like volume and play/stop. This will not affect the ability to plug in to non-Apple gear.
