There are some new credit card offers this week that can get you some great travel for almost free! Check out this list of the top credit card offers of the week!

Credit card offers are a constantly changing thing in this space so I am going to start doing a round up at the end of each week of the top credit card offers that had changed or popped up during the week. I will also include credit card offers that may be expiring.

Top Credit Card Offers of the Week – September 3

Note: Any direct card links in this post are not affiliate links. If I do not have a link included, it means you can find that offer under the Credit Cards tab (which does pay a commission if you are approved). Thanks so much!

American Airlines AAdvantage Aviator Card

  • Receive 60,000 AA miles after first purchase in the first 90 days
  • First checked bag free
  • $95 annual fee (not waived)
  • Application Link
  • Issued by Barclaycard
  • Notes: Great card offer! AA miles are not quite as valuable as they used to be but 60,000 miles is still enough for at least a roundtrip to Europe in coach and even one way in business class on AA or their partners. Definitely a good card to get!

Hilton Surpass

  • Receive 100,000 Hilton points after spending $3,000 in the first 90 days
  • Receive a free weekend night certificate after paying the second year’s annual fee
  • $75 annual fee (not waived)
  • Issued by American Express
  • Notes: This card offer is the best they have ever had and only the second time it has been offered. If you want to save on hotels, this should give you at least $500 in Hilton hotel value and could be at least another $500 with the free weekend night certificate on the second year.

Southwest Airlines Premier Personal

  • Receive 60,000 points after spending $2,000 in the first 3 months
  • $99 annual fee (not waived)
  • Issued by Chase
  • Not eligible if you have had this card’s bonus in the last 24 months
  • Not eligible if you have 5 or more new credit card accounts in the last 24 months (any banks, personal cards)
  • Notes: If you get this card and one of the other Southwest cards, you will have the Southwest Companion Pass with just the card bonuses! Great deal but better if you wait until after October to get the spending done in early 2018. That way, you will have the Southwest companion Pass for 2018 and 2019!

Southwest Airlines Plus Personal

  • Receive 60,000 points after spending $2,000 in the first 3 months
  • $69 annual (not waived)
  • Issued by Chase
  • Not eligible if you have had this card’s bonus in the last 24 months
  • Not eligible if you have 5 or more new credit card accounts in the last 24 months (any banks, personal cards)
  • Notes: If you get this card and one of the other Southwest cards, you will have the Southwest Companion Pass with just the card bonuses! Great deal but better if you wait until after October to get the spending done in early 2018. That way, you will have the Southwest companion Pass for 2018 and 2019!

Southwest Airlines Premier Business

That is it for this week! If you were going to go for just one card this week, I would say to go for the AAdvantage Aviator card. That is a very strong card offer with no minimum spending amount. It is a perfect way to get started in miles and points and seeing what they can do for you without putting in the heavy spending.

Any other credit card offers of interest this week?

  • I only use Wyndham cards. The points for every purchase gave me two weeks of hotels this year. Since my husband is afraid of flying these were necessary when we traveled to see the eclipse and the Northern lights.
