The Latest World of Hyatt News of 8 New Destination Hotels and Other Brands

With the acquisition last year of Two Roads Hospitality, Hyatt has been able to fill some holes in their world chart as well as with the kinds of properties that would appeal to a broader customer base. The latest one to be integrated, Destination Hotels, sees the first 8 hotels being added for integration from today, August 20.

The first 4 hotels on the list will be integrated today, the next 2 will be integrated tomorrow and the last two will be integrated September 10, 2019.
Hyatt told us that they are going to be bringing more Destination locations into the World of Hyatt program – and that includes some “unique Destination Residences” properties. This means that we will, eventually, be able to book with Hyatt for privately owned condo resorts, villas, and vacation homes (which will nicely replace the former Oasis partnership) in vacation destinations around the US – Hawaii, Lake Tahoe, and Vail.
Plus, the Alila Yangshuo (in Guilin, China) – a Alila-brand hotel – will also be a participant in the World of Hyatt program starting September 24. This hotel goes for an average of $280 per night.
