Mega Giveaway Coming Next Week! Lots Of Stuff!

Running with Miles turns 3 this month and I really can’t believe how far it has come! It is kind of funny now when I look back and first thought about starting it. It was because of some running tours I was going to try organize but people kept saying the airfare was the prohibiting factor. Combine that with the fact that I always had friends and family members asking me how they could get and use miles. In fact, those were the same questions over and over again.

So, I thought I would start blogging to answer their specific questions since they kept coming up and also try to help my running friends with earning miles for air travel. At the time, I had told my wife, “I will just take two or three hours on a Sunday night and knock out all the posts for the week and that will be it.” Well, that didn’t stay that way for long. 🙂 In fact, it now take several hours every night (late night) to keep up with it all now but I am really enjoying it. I went from 3 posts per week to averaging over 3 every day.

Mega Giveaway Coming Next Week!

Anyway, I wanted to do something special this year to thank you all for continuing to come back to follow along on this blog journey. I have learned a lot more over the years and continue to learn more so hopefully things will only get better around here. In fact, I have a couple of projects I am working on for the new year that I really hope will bring more information and help to you in regards to travel and running.

I have done giveaways from time to time but I wanted to celebrate this month with a week long giveaway featuring many prizes. For those who do not know, when you purchase items through my Amazon links, that money goes right back into the giveaways. November was a particularly good month so it enabled this giveaway to be bigger than it would have been otherwise. So, the giveaway is thanks to all of you as well! Also, I am a deal hunter at heart so I really searched to find the best deals so I could get somethings that I thought the readership would find of value. Finally, some companies stepped up to offer some nice stuff as well, so thanks to all!

The Prizes

The giveaway will run next week from Monday through Saturday and have at least 3 prizes each day. Here are some of the things that are being given away:

  • iPad Mini Retina
  • Several Kindle readers
  • Elite status
  • In-flight internet codes
  • Subscription codes
  • GPS running watch
  • Oakley sunglasses
  • Camera
  • Media stick devices for TVs
  • 15,000 Hyatt Gold Passport points
  • and maybe some other stuff 🙂

The winners will be chosen at random and everyone will have a shot at winning this stuff.

E-Mail Newsletter

I will also be launching the Running with Miles newsletter which will keep you informed everyday of the posts from the day before as well as some other posts that you may not have read before. This will be launched next week as well and those who sign up will be entered to win a giveaway item just for signing up! Also, newsletter subscribers will find out each day what the next day’s items are that will be given away. So, stay tuned for the newsletter launch!

That’s it! Thanks again for all the comments, e-mails, encouragement, and corrections. It all helps to make me work harder to be my best. Thanks for following along on this journey and I really look forward to giving away all of this stuff! As someone who only has ever won one thing in his life from a giveaway, it always makes me excited to e-mail the winners and tell them about their prize. And I am going to get to do that almost twenty times next week!
