Last Day for the 100K Chase Sapphire Reserve Bonus!

This is the last chance to take advantage of the 100K Chase Sapphire Reserve bonus! This is too good to pass up so find out about it now!

This is it – March, 11, the last day to get the sign-up bonus of the great 100K Chase Sapphire Reserve. It has been only at 50,000 points online for the last couple of months and the 100K Chase Sapphire Reserve bonus has since been available only in-branch. But, today is the last day to apply before even the in-branch offer drops to 50,000 points.

Most of the people that really wanted the 100K point Chase Sapphire Reserve offer took advantage of it within the first couple of weeks. As we saw, it was more of a response than even Chase had planned for. But, there were still many of us that were just hoping the offer would stick around for a while until we dropped under the 5/24 line for Chase’s approval.

Find the 100K Point Chase Sapphire Reserve Offer in a Chase Branch

The Chase Sapphire Reserve is still under the 5/24 rule but if you recently dropped under it, time to apply! However, there are some people that have been mentioning that they have been approved when they were a couple over 5/24. I even had one friend tell me that he was at 7/24. If you are near a Chase branch, it may be worth stopping in today to see what happens. 100,000 Ultimate Reward points is a big deal!

Do Not Apply Online!

Whatever you do, do not apply online for the Chase Sapphire Reserve offer – not with my links or anyone else’s! If you do, you will be giving up 50,000 valuable Ultimate Reward points that are worth at least $750. It is totally not worth doing that!

After the in-branch bonus drops to 50,000 points, I would not suggest anyone sign-up for the Chase Sapphire Reserve offer for the time being. The Chase Sapphire Preferred will offer an initially better value and you can always upgrade to the Chase Sapphire Reserve card later.

Takeaway

Today, March 11, is the final day to get the 100K Chase Sapphire Reserve bonus. After that, it will likely be a card that most of us would avoid since the Chase Sapphire Preferred does offer a better offer up front. Also, my guess is that we would see another increased bonus on the Chase Sapphire Reserve either around Christmastime this year or around April of 2018. If you have had that card’s in the previous 24 months when applying, you cannot get it again. So, the best bet would be to avoid applying for the Chase Sapphire Reserve until it hits the higher bonuses again.

In the meantime, if you want to take advantage of the awesome benefits like the 1.5 cent per point redemption through the Ultimate Reward portal on travel, the $300 annual travel credit, and lounge access, consider upgrading to take advantage of all that now. This way, you will not miss out on the bonus later.

  • Apparently they’re still checking for the 5/24 rule even if you applied in branch. I did it 2 days ago and called in today, I had 4 CCs in the last 2 years and 3 as authorized so the CS agent told me denied, too many CCs…I told her I could remove myself from the auth if that would matter but the key was I am not responsible for my wife’s CCs repayment, after that she was willing to work with me and continued with the recon. I also told her if it helped that i was willing to move credit from another CC b/c the Reserve has a minimum of 10K limit. I was also a victim of ident. theft and she asked me why so many inquiries so I explained that…it felt as if she was going to approve me but she said they had to verify one more thing but that dept. was closed until Monday at 8AM and she gave me the phone # to call. Not sure if anybody has had a similar experience with the “verification” dept.
