Hyatt’s Consolation Promotion

Hyatt's Consolation promo
Written by Charlie

No sooner had I pushed “publish” on the last post about the 50,000 Hyatt point promo than I (rather my wife) received a targeted promotion of her own. While this one is not nearly as lucrative as the other, it actually fits our circumstances quite a bit better.

Hyatt's Consolation promo

Earn 2,000 bonus points for a one night stay – targeted

The promotion is to stay one night between September 1 – November 30 and receive 2,000 Hyatt points. That’s it! There will be no additional points given for any stays past that one, but that is still a pretty nice offer! Our family occasionally stays at the local Hyatt here with points since there are some nice things for the kids, but I generally book it out of my account since I am the Diamond and want the points (when booked with the Points+Cash option). However, with an offer like this, we will just book the next room from her account instead and basically get almost all of our points back on the stay! Not a bad offer!

So, keep an eye on your e-mail for this offer if you had not received the other one! The e-mail title (which is pretty hard to ignore) is – Exclusive Offer: Earn 2,000 Bonus Points. Just a reminder – Points+Cash reservations do count as “eligible stays” for the purpose of these promos and earning of points/credit.

Here are the terms:

You must receive this offer from Hyatt and register by November 30, 2014 through the email link above to participate in this offer. You will receive 2,000 Hyatt Gold Passport bonus points after your first Eligible Stay from September 1, 2014 through November 30, 2014. A maximum 2,000 bonus points may be earned, regardless of the number of stays completed during the offer period. For the purpose of this offer, an “Eligible Stay” is defined in the terms and conditions of Hyatt Gold Passport, except that stays at M life resorts do not count as Eligible Stays under this offer. Hyatt Gold Passport members will only receive Eligible Stay credit for their room, regardless of the number of rooms paid. You must provide your Hyatt Gold Passport membership number at the time of check-in and choose points or miles for your stay. Hyatt Gold Passport will automatically track Eligible Stays when you provide your Hyatt Gold Passport membership number. Please allow two to three weeks after your stay for bonus points to be posted to your Hyatt Gold Passport account.
