Over the weekend, a leaked website showed the next phase of the integration from the Two Roads acquisition that Hyatt made last year and it involved Alila properties. Without a reason to get that out ASAP (since they cannot be booked until today), I didn’t rush to get the news out until I heard from Hyatt with the full details. Now they are here and Hyatt is again making some great moves!
Hyatt is Expanding Again with 16 Alila Properties Around the World

There are 16 properties in total from the Alila brand that will be integrated into the Hyatt program, starting today. Here is what the rollout looks like and what you will need to redeem awards at these locations.
There are actually 19 Alila properties in all but 3 are not involved in this integration. Unfortunately, that includes Alila Purnama which is an actual hotel ship in Indonesia!

If you are going to be visiting Asia, you definitely will want to check out some of these properties! Just keep in mind that locations like Indonesia can have some fantastic properties at relatively small prices (for travelers used to higher American prices). That is why I am happy to see the bulk of these properties existing in the lower category award brackets. This will make the decision to use points a little easier at some locations.

Along with this integration, Hyatt has this to say about their FIND platform for experiences: “Additionally, as part of the Alila brand integration, World of Hyatt members will be able to participate in uniquely crafted, authentic experiences at participating Alila hotels through the FIND experience platform. Plus, you can still take advantage of the Hyatt promotion that rewards you 2,000 points for your first stay at each new brand and you can use these new brands to help earn a Category 1 – 4 certificate by staying at all 4 new brands before December 31, 2019!
