Do you want to get more Hilton points? Here is how you can get up to 340,000 Hilton points with only 2 credit cards! Check it out!

It may take a lot of Hilton points for top tier hotels but at least they are pretty easy to come by! If you have never had the American Express Hilton cards, you will be able to earn up to 340,000 Hilton points – with just 2 cards! Here is how to do that.

How You Can Earn 340,000 Hilton Points – With 2 Cards

Neither of the links below are my affiliate links. Instead, I have placed reader referral links and will be rotating them – I do not have the plain Hilton Amex referrals to put so leave yours in the comments!

For a limited time only (through May 31, 2017), the Hilton cards from Amex are at all-time highs. Here is what you need to know about getting the Hilton points rolling.

The First 180,000 Hilton Points – For New Customers Only

Thanks to American Express and their policy of one bonus per lifetime, if you have had one of these cards, you cannot get the bonus on that card again. That does not mean you cannot get the bonus on the other card, though!

Hilton Surpass – 100,000 Points & 1 Free Night After the First Year

Link: Hilton Surpass 100,000 Points

  • Earn 100,000 Hilton Honors Bonus Points after you spend $3,000 in purchases on the Card within your first 3 months of Card Membership
  • Plus, earn a free weekend night award after your first anniversary of Card Membership.
  • Offer Ends 5/31/2017
  • Annual fee – $75 (not waived)

Free Weekend Night

That free weekend night is a great offer but you will need to pay the annual fee both the first year and the second. That means you will have paid a total of $150 for the 100,000 Hilton points and a free weekend night. In effect, the free weekend night will cost you $75. But, that is a great deal for sure, depending on the hotel you burn it on.

Hilton Card from Amex – 80,000 Points

If you are annual fee adverse, this is definitely the offer for you! It comes with 80,000 points after meeting the minimum spending and Hilton Silver elite status – with no annual fee! Not only that, but you will be able to get the Amex Offers on this card just like all other Amex cards so you stand to benefit very nicely by keeping this card open.

  • Earn 80,000 Hilton Honors Bonus Points after you spend $2,000 in purchases on the Card within your first 3 months of Card Membership.
  • Offer ends 05/31/2017
  • No Annual Fee

The Next 160,000 Hilton Points – For Cardmembers Only

Now that you are going to get the above cards (or you already have them), you can go ahead and generate your own referral links on those cards to earn even more points! Here are the details about those:

Hilton Surpass Referral

  • Earn 25,000 Hilton points for each successful referral
  • Max in a year is 80,000 points
  • Link

Hilton Card from Amex

  • Earn 10,000 Hilton points for each successful referral
  • Max in a year is 80,000 points
  • Link

This means that to max out both offers, you would need to refer for a total of 12 successful applications. The best part is that the same people can get each card so you really would only need to refer 8 people. That is not that many for a card that can give you a lot of staying power!

Getting & Using the Referral Offers

If you just applied, once you get your card (or it shows up in your Amex account), you can go ahead and generate referrals. If you have already maxed out the referral offers on your Hilton Surpass card, consider downgrading it to the regular Hilton Amex card and then you can generate referrals from that card as well. The 80,000 point cap is for each referral account, not for the total Hilton points you can receive.

Once you receive your Hilton referral links for the Amex cards, go ahead and leave them below, but make sure you specify what the offer is and for which card. I will rotate them in for the above links over the next few weeks. If you find that you received the max bonus, please let me know in the comments so I can switch you out!
