But, what if you already have the card? Unfortunately, you are not eligible to get the bonus if you have (or have ever had) the Hilton Surpass card. However, there is still a way you can earn some serious Hilton points if you still have the Hilton Surpass card.

While there has always been a referral opportunity on this card, it has normally linked people to the regular 60,000 point link. This is because the 85,000 point link was a different one than the usual, public landing page for the Hilton Surpass card.

Help your friends and family to get 100K Hilton points!

This morning when I was writing the other post, I checked the referral and, sure enough, it is for the 100K Hilton point offer! This is because this offer is the public page link for the Hilton Surpass card.

Referral Details:

• You will receive 15,000 Hilton points for every successful application through your referral
• The limit you can receive is 80,000 Hilton points in a year
• The people you refer will receive the same 100K Hilton point offer that is publicly available

How To Get Your Referrals To Send

Method 1 – Login

There are two ways to get it. One is if you do not have any other referral-eligible cards in your account (like my wife’s account just defaults to her SPG card referral page).

For this, simply go to this Amex website and enter your login details. Once you enter it, you will be able to fill in your information for the people you want to send it to.

Method 2 – Use Card Info

If you do have another referral-eligible card, you will likely need to login with your Hilton Surpass card. If you are like many people, pull it out of the sock drawer and punch in your numbers at the same Amex website.

Wrong Offer Listed?

As of this morning, the e-mail that was sent out to those who were referred was for the old, 60,000 point offer. But, when you click the link, it goes to the 100K offer. Just make sure you tell whatever family/friends you e-mail that they need to click the link to get the offer.

Summary

I love credit card referral offers! It rewards current cardholders with an opportunity to earn more miles/points while helping their friends and family members to get started in the game as well.
