Presidential Suites are the pinnacle of hotel suite, and they have all the luxuries – and price – that go with that! Find out how I got one for 90% off!

Presidential suites – these are the suites that are often not bookable online and they can run into the thousands of dollars for a single night. That’s right, it can cost over $5,000 for a single night in the same hotel where you can get a room for $100! These are the suites where famous people stay in if they are visiting that particular hotel and often its visitors can include presidents, kings/queens, and prime ministers. So, how did I get a presidential suite for 90% off???

Hilton Amsterdam – A Presidential Suite for 90% Off

I am always on the lookout for a good hotel or flight deal, especially in cities that I have not had a chance to explore(run) yet. So, when this deal popped up, I jumped on it right away!

A standard room at this hotel around my dates was going for $300 – a standard room! But, they had all their suites on limited dates for around $240-260 after taxes. Since this is Hilton, those suites could also be booked with points instead of cash.

So, I quickly jumped on the site and booked the 1,200+ square foot Presidential Suite for 66,000 points. As far as point values go, that is not that great since you can usually find point values around .5 cents per point. This rate came out to being just about .41 cents per point. So, not great but also pretty good for me since I was not going to just drop $260 for a random night someplace, no matter how great the room might be!

The Hilton Amsterdam Presidential Suite normally goes for $2,700 per night so this is like a 90% discount on that rate! Of course, you could use points at that rate as well (you need to call in) but it would take a lot! Instead, I just used points instead of cash and snagged a very expensive suite at a 90% discount – and didn’t even need to use cash for it since I booked it with points!

I am really looking forward to checking out Amsterdam, but I am also looking forward to checking out this hotel! Even though I know that most of my readers will likely never stay in the Presidential Suite of this hotel, it will still be cool to get a look at it and see what the experience is like!

Check out these perks!

“Experience true luxury in the opulent Presidential Suite. This stunning 118 sq. m./1270 sq. ft. suite boasts a private bedroom with king-sized bed, a separate living and dining room with separate entrance, and a fully equipped kitchen with 4 hotplates, microwave, fridge freezer and Illy coffee set.

Take in the view from the balcony or refresh in one of two bathrooms. Each bathroom features a walk-in shower and the luxurious master bathroom also features a large bathtub.

Executive benefits include access to the Executive Lounge with breakfast and refreshments. Special touches include plush bathrobes and slippers and a welcome VIP amenity.”

Takeaway

I love deals like this as they not only force me to put certain destinations on my calendar but they also give me an incredible lodging experience – without the typical price tag that goes with it. If you follow Extreme Hotel Deals, you will find a fantastic deal sometime! Since most reservations with hotels can be cancelled, always snag it first and see if the travel works later.

I also have a reservation for months from now at the Capital Hilton – also in a Presidential Suite. 🙂 Thanks, Extreme Hotel Deals!
