Today only, this portal is offering 8X miles on Staples purchases. Simply go to the portal and click through to shop at Staples to begin earning the 8X miles.
2. Use A Chase Ink Card
If you use your Chase Ink card, you will earn 5X Ultimate Reward points on your purchase at Staples. This happens automatically when you pay using the card so these points will show in your Ultimate Rewards account as posting on your next statement.
3. Use Visa Checkout For $30 Off $150 Or More
Yesterday, I wrote about a deal using Visa Checkout (you do not actually have to use a Visa card with that to qualify). It will give you a $30 discount on purchases of $150 or more at Staples. Combined with eligible purchases and those purchases being made through the Alaska portal, you can really maximize your bonus and savings.
Summary
To put it all together, you can save $30 and earn quite a few Alaska Airline miles in addition to the 5 Ultimate Reward points per dollar that are always earned with a Chase Ink card.
Given that the Alaska Airline credit cards only give a bonus of 25,000 miles per application, earning a lot of Alaska miles through other means is always a good idea.
