Great Deal on Sony Noise Canceling Earbuds – Just $68 [Refurbished]

This is the best deal I have ever seen on these stellar noise canceling earbuds, the Sony WF-1000XM3. Yes, they are refurbished, but they are refurbished by Sony or an authorized shop and that means you won’t be getting “used” parts in the sense that they have people’s germs on them. 🙂 I have bought refurbished Sony stuff from this seller before and it was always great!

I have a whole review on these awesome noise canceling earbuds that you can read right here but I will leave some highlight thoughts on them here as well to help you with this decision.

Apple AirPods Pro vs Sony WF-1000XM3

I know many people may want to know how they compare to the Apple AirPods Pro. I tested both against each other and I can say this – the secret sauce from Apple of their H1 chip definitely makes for seamless performance with Apple devices. This means that if you have multiple Apple devices, the AirPods are better for fast switching. Also, if you want to work out with your earbuds, the Apple AirPods Pro are better than the Sony WF-1000XM3.

But, the Sony’s provide a better noise cancelling experience and the combination of their earbuds and the software allows for great ambient changes on the go, thanks to your movement and location. This means that the earbuds can let more noise in based on what you are doing. Also, you can control the quality of the audio with the Sony WF-1000XM3.

Oh, and the Apple AirPods Pro cost $249 while these refurbished Sony ones cost $99. 🙂

The charging case is a bit larger than the Apple one but nothing to really slow you down. I would look at the Sony WF-1000XM3 noise cancelling earbuds as fantastic life-style and travel noise cancelling earbuds. They work great for a variety of scenarios and are just great to work with.

In-Flight Hookup

If you plan to use them on an airplane with an in-flight entertainment system, check out this little gadget that will make that possible. Though they are trying to market toward AirPod Pro users, they will work with any bluetooth earbuds/headphones.

Bottom Line

For $99, this is just an awesome deal. Based on my history with the seller and Sony refurb gear, I would not hesitate ordering from them. They have a good return policy and their products have been great for me before. Plus, you will save at least $100 off the new price of these earbuds. Put it this way – you could buy two of these and still have it cost less than one retail pair. 🙂

  • I had these forever, until last weekend when I was out fishing and I had the earbuds in their case inside my fishing waders. Waders were leaky and the case got soaked. Now they don’t work.

I may pick up these refurbs as I don’t want to pay for the XM4s.
