This is a great deal on a laptop loved by many – the MacBook Air 13″ with USB-A ports and a SD card slot for camera cards. At only $650, it is a steal!

This may be your last chance to snag a MacBook Air 13″ model that has the USB type A ports and a USB card slot! All currently made Apple laptops have moved to the USB C ports and even their most expensive laptops no longer have a SD card slot. I really don’t mind being all in on USB C but I know many people do. If that is you, grab this brand new MacBook Air 13″ for just $650, $25 less than the previous deal.

As far as specs go, this is definitely not the latest and greatest. This is the previous generation of MacBook Air laptops, made in 2017. But, it does have something that many people love and that is the “older” USB ports, the port that most of us used up until a couple of years ago. Here are the specs for this laptop:

  • 1.8 GHz dual-core Intel Core i5 Processor
  • Intel HD Graphics 6000
  • Fast SSD Storage
  • 8GB memory
  • Two USB 3 ports
  • Thunderbolt 2 port
  • Sdxc port

I owned one for a while and it is a pretty great laptop. It lacks the Retina display that all recent MacBook laptops have but, for $650, this is a pretty great deal. The storage is on the stingy side but the RAM is legit for a deal at this price.

    • Since USB A had been around for a long time, most people have cables and accessories that use that. When USB C became more prevalent, people had to start buying dongles to use their older accessories. But, I am a big fan of USB C now, both for its speed and convenience.
