Great Deal: $50 Back On $150+ Hyatt Place Stays

Here is another hotel offer from Amex offers and it is a good one – it comes out to a 30% back (if you only spend the $150) on Hyatt Place stays.

$50 Back On $150 Hyatt Place Spend

You know the drill – login to your American Express account and scroll down to where you see Amex Offers For You. Open that tab and scroll down until you see Hyatt Place Hotels. The deal is to spend $150 at Hyatt Place hotels (on all charges) and receive a $50 statement credit back to your card.

Great deal – $50 back on $150 spend at Hyatt Place hotels

Before you click Save Offer, make sure you duplicate the tab for as many windows as you have Amex cards in that account. Next, scroll down to each offer on each available card and then go through each tab clicking Save Offer to ensure that you will be able to have multiple stays at Hyatt Place hotels using the various cards.

This was not available on my small business Amex cards, which is a shame as Amex OPEN gives a 5% statement credit on Hyatt purchases.

Details:

Get a 1X $50 statement credit by using your enrolled Card to spend a total of $150+ on all room charges, including room rate, at Hyatt Place hotels between 11/28/14 & 2/28/15. Check out must occur on or before 2/28/15 to be eligible for the credit.

Maximizing the Offer

Hyatt Place hotels are nice in that they have more room than a typical hotel and offer a decent breakfast for all guests. Since it is not a top tier brand, you do get a lot with your reservation instead of having to pay for all of the extras.

Hyatt Places are also not that expensive in many of the markets. If you had gotten in on the Hyatt Diamond Challenge (currently expired – Link), you may be able to use this offer to help meet your 12 night requirement. In many cases, a $150 charge will get you 2 nights (sometimes 3 nights at certain Hyatt Places) and it will end up costing you a net of only $100. That is a pretty great deal! If you can work this to stay for 3 nights at the cheapest of Hyatt Places and save the offer across multiple Amex cards, you could wipe out all 12 nights for a cost of $400 (providing you were only spending $50 per night in the first place).
