Hyatt’s New 2015 Promo Is Here – Earn Thousands Of Points

Hyatt Stay More, Play More Promo Registration

Hyatt had built up this “Stay More, Play More” promo a bit but it does not appear to be all that different from past promos. In fact, I received the same offer that I got last year at this time. This is also similar to the promo from this past fall, although I had not received the high targeted offer that time.

This promo is again targeted but many people do seem to be getting the offer for up to 50,000 points with some people receiving targeted offers for earning up to 65,000 points. At the other end of the spectrum, my wife received another common offer – 2,000 points after making one stay at any Hyatt.

Here is the breakdown of the earning offer for the 50,000 point promo:

Hyatt Promo

All stays for this promo (no matter what the targeted offer is) must be completed between January 15 and April 30. Even though I do not yet have any eligible stays booked yet with Hyatt (award stays do not count, though points+cash stays do count), I registered anyway. Who knows what may come up and no one should ever turn away points!

Mix The Offer With The Hyatt Diamond Challenge

ETA: According to an update from View from the Wing, this challenge is a targeted deal for certain customers and is not open to everyone.

If you were targeted for one of the more lucrative stay offers and you are not currently a Diamond, you could consider killing two birds with one stone and signing up for the Diamond Challenge while hitting these nights. Staying 3 nights more than the required 12 for the challenge will net you 30,000 Hyatt Gold Passport points. That is a lot of points that can be used for 1 night at a Category 7 or several nights at the lower categories.

Targeted Offer

This is a targeted offer that was different for various family members and is for all Hyatt members.

I am a Diamond and have the credit card and received the above offer for 50,000 points after 20 nights. My wife is a Platinum and has the credit card and received the offer for 2,000 points after 1 night. Another family member who has no status and does not have the credit card received the same targeted offer as mine – 50,000 points after 20 nights.

What did you get with the new Hyatt promo?

  • I got the 65k. I had something like…….26/27 qualifying stays and 47(?) nights last year? They were a nice spread of low-, middle-, and high-end properties (Hyatt Houses, Andaz and PH) all over the place. Not unhappy about it, but unlikely that I will be able to make 25 stays in a few months. Doing the mattress run math this morning, so we’ll see if it’s worthwhile.
