If you are going to buy an Apple product, now would be a good time to do that AND earn a bunch of miles! With this deal, earn 5 United miles per dollar at Apple, including on the latest iPhones and Apple Watches!

Last week, we saw British Airways and American Airlines offering increased portal offers with Apple. Today, it is United Airlines! As someone who values my United miles for various awards, this is one that always interests me (I used a similar offer this year when purchasing a MacBook for someone and earned almost enough miles for a free roundtrip in the US!).

Here are the terms for the offer with United Airlines:

  • Earn miles on all iPhones, Apple Watch Series 4 (and other models), iPads (except the latest iPad Pro models) and Mac computers and laptops (except the latest MacBook Air and the new Mac Mini).
  • Earn NO miles on new products when launched including the New iPad Pro, MacBook Air and Mac mini, One-to-one membership, Shipping and Tax charges, Bose products, Apple Developer Programs, Apple Employee Purchase Programs, iTunes gift cards, Apple gift cards purchases and gift wrap

To put it simply, you can earn miles on all Apple products except the new iPad Pros, new MacBook Air, and the new Mac Mini. The good news is that, if you are eligible, you will earn miles using the educational discounts. If you are eligible, you can save up to $300 on a Mac with the educational discount!

Apple products are not cheap but if you were waiting to pick up an expensive Apple product, this would be a great time to do it. For example, if you are a professional that needs a MacBook that can demanding graphics, the latest 15″ MacBook Pros come with Vega 16 and 20 video cards. With prices starting at $3,000 and climbing to $7,000 for mid-high range versions, you could pick up a substantial amount of miles.

Also, don’t forget about the holiday bonus this week of earning an extra 500 miles for $200 in spending.

Good Deal?

There have been a lot of deals on iPads and even MacBooks over the last couple of weeks. I suggest you pick out the item you want and then check the following for price comparisons:

They may just have big enough discounts on items that it would be cheaper to buy from them than earn the miles. But, if you want the latest MacBook Pro models (the 15″ version with upgraded graphics), iMac Pros, or Apple Watch Series 4 watches, you won’t find better deals right now.
