When it comes to noise cancelling headphones, many people are familiar with Bose – thanks to nice build quality and huge marketing efforts. However, they are not the only player in the game. Spend enough time in the airport and on airplanes and you will see enough people sporting Sony headphones as well.
Deal of the Day: Sony Noise Cancelling Headphones for $113
If you want a pair of bluetooth, noise cancelling headphones at a steal, this deal is for your! This is the lowest price ever on this pair of Sony noise cancelling headphones so you can get them for a few dollars over $100. That is cheaper than the cable-reliant Bose QuietComfort 25 so not bad for bluetooth!
There are a couple of things to note – this headphone’s big selling point, besides the noise cancelling, is the bass boost features. You can still shut that off or tune it lower if you are not a bass person.
There is one other thing that reviewers did not like and that was that it does not do multi-point bluetooth pairing so you cannot have it paired to multiple devices at once. If you want more advanced headphones, you are likely going to need to check out Sony’s own 1000MX2 ($349) or Bose’s QuietComfort 35 II (also $349). You could also wait until Black Friday to see what drops (remember, Amazon’s holiday return policy is in effect so you could buy these Sony headphones now and return later if something else is cheaper next week).
Hope this helps! I am seriously tempted but my Bose QC 20i earbuds are still working just fine.
