AMAZING Chase Sapphire Preferred Offer – 100,000 Points!

Written by Charlie

A huge Chase Sapphire Preferred 100,000 points offer has just landed! This is the biggest public offer yet and definitely worth getting since you can get at least $1,250 in value from it!

The best offer ever has just dropped on the Chase Sapphire Preferred – 100,000 Ultimate Reward points! The previous offer of 80,000 points was tied for the biggest one but now this is the new best (public) offer on arguably the best all-around credit card to jump into rewards with.

Edit: If you go into a Chase branch, you can apply with one of their bankers to get the same offer with the $95 annual fee waived the first year and the $50 grocery credit from the previous offer. That equals $145 in more value from the public, online offer!

The Chase Sapphire Preferred Offer

  • Earn 100,000 points after spending $4,000 in the first 3 months
  • 2x points on dining and travel
  • 25% more in redemption value when redeemed for travel or for Pay Yourself Back in rotating categories
    • Right now, those categories are dining, grocery stores, and home improvement stores
  • Annual fee is $95 and not waived the first year
  • Transfer to travel partners at 1:1 rate

Value of the Chase Sapphire Preferred Offer

This is definitely a great offer, whether you are currently traveling or not. Thanks to the Pay Yourself Back feature, if you do $1,250 in shopping at grocery stores or home improvement stores, you can wipe all of that out once the 100,000 points hit your account!

If you do want the points for travel, they will be ready to transfer when you are ready to travel or to book travel with the points directly – but, I do not advise that path. Instead, redeem the points for your groceries/home improvement/ dining and then purchase the travel directly through airlines or hotels. This way, if you do have to cancel, it will be much easier to deal directly with the airlines and booking through the hotel website will let you enjoy your elite status and earn nights that count towards it.

If you use the Ultimate Reward points for transferring to partners, this could give you some great value. For starters, it is 4 round trip tickets anywhere in the US when transferred to United or can get you a roundtrip ticket to Europe with one of the directions in business class.

Another great option is transferring to Hyatt and getting 5 nights at a luxury Category 5 or you can splurge for the best Hyatt/partner properties in the world and get 2 nights at one and then another night at a Category 5!

You could also transfer to Southwest (though I would not advise it since there are some better uses) and get around $1,400-1,500 in value on Southwest travel.

Anyway you look at it, your base value of this Chase Sapphire Preferred 100,000 point offer would be $1,250 when using Pay Yourself Back. The value goes up from there if used with travel partners. Even paying the $95 annual fee, you are still getting an incredible deal.

Can You Get this Offer?

Just remember that this card offer carries the normal Chase 5/24 rules – that you cannot have had 5 or more new cards (with any banks) in the last 24 months. Also, you cannot have received a bonus on the Chase Sapphire Preferred or the Reserve in the last 48 months and you cannot have a Chase Sapphire card right now.

Other than that, definitely give it a shot!
