Flying to Greece in the summer is something that millions of people are doing this year. That normally translates to higher ticket prices in both premium cabins and economy cabins. However, this is one deal that can almost beat economy prices in business class! How about $650 for one way from JFK to Greece – and even $1,300 for some roundtrip dates – all in business class?!
Air Serbia Business Class Deal – JFK – Greece for $647 One-Way

This is only available out of JFK (as that is the only airport that Air Serbia serves in the US) and there are dates available for roundtrip but finding a one-way like this can be super difficult so we will start with that. The airports in Greece that this deal works for are Athens and Thessaloniki.

Some of these have overnights in Belgrade (a nice place to have an overnight and explore) while others have just a couple of hours. The price is similar if you want to just do JFK to Belgrade as well and there are more dates available. Here are those dates:

Play around with return dates as well because there are several available at twice the one-way price.
Air Serbia flies a single Airbus A330 and it is a recent lease acquisition that has a different business class cabin than from before. I have flown Air Serbia in economy and I had said I would not really want to do that again! But, I will be taking advantage of this deal to fly from JFK to Greece in business class to give it a try!
Mileage Earning
This books into a “W” fare class which will earn you 4,945 miles in the Etihad Guest program and 6,746 tier miles in the program.
This is a stellar deal, especially given that it is for August and September to Europe! Finding a one-way ticket to Europe that is half the price of a roundtrip is difficult sometimes so that makes this even better, if you plan on hitting various locations in Europe and want to use miles to fly home.
Things to Note
Just remember a couple of things – make sure you check the requirements for entering Serbia due to Covid if you have an overnight layover. Also, remember that they have one aircraft that makes this flight so if there is a mechanical issue, you could find yourself delayed. But, this is a $647 business class ticket one-way from NYC to Greece or Serbia in the summer, so maybe worth a shot? 🙂
