For Amazon Prime Day, you can grab a pair of the great Bose SoundSport Wireless sport earbuds at their best price ever! These are great for sports and even block out some noise while traveling!

Frequent visitors to the blog may notice that I have used quite a few headphones and earbuds over time! For me, I split these into a few different categories: earbuds for everyday/all day use, earbuds for running, earbuds/headphones for travel.

That second one, earbuds for running, is actually an important distinction from the other categories. The reason for that is sweat. When I run with earbuds, those things are going to be getting a fair amount of perspiration and even some downpours of rain from time to time. While Apple AirPods are great for everyday use, they don’t hold up that well for running with every day.

I used to use an older pair of Jabra earbuds and they worked well but the best ones I have ever used are the Bose SoundSport Wireless Sport earbuds. These have a fantastic fit (though they do stick out a bit more from your ear than either the Jabra or, for sure, AirPods), some great sound, and they work very nicely for anything. I have even used them for air travel a couple of times and found that, while they don’t cancel out the sound, they do a nice job of blocking sound thanks to their fit in the ear.

I have seen them under $200 before but never this cheap! For Amazon Prime Day only, you can get them for just $139! That is a killer deal – but there is one caveat. They are only available at that price in an Amazon Exclusive color that is described as Ultraviolet with Midnight Blue. I don’t think they look that bad at all – they kind of have some personality over the regular colors!

  • Charlie, I assume these NC buds are a good bit heavier than Bose’s wired versions?

    • @Geoff – to be clear, these are not noise cancelling (but the fit does help to make it block out noise a good bit). They are heavier than past sport wired versions I have used from Bose. But, I quickly got used to them. I don’t know if I would want to wear them around during the day for hours at a time, however.
