Travel Deals: GREAT Business Class Prices to South America

LAN Airlines and American Airlines have some really great deals going on right now to several cities in South American (including Buenos Aires, Santiago, Easter Island, the Galapagos and more). These deals are right around $1,000 round-trip in business class (normally about the price you would pay for economy). Below are some sites that have already covered a lot of the possibilities. Tip: should you take advantage of any of these fares on American Airlines, consider calling American and doing a status challenge for AA Platinum. This costs $200 (which is a reimbursable fee if you have the American Express Platinum card and select American Airlines as your Airline Choice partner) and requires 10,000 elite points. This trip would help you with that easily and makes you a mid-tier elite in an airline that will soon be the world’s largest airline.
