This is one of those deals that is fantastic for the person on the go. I have the older HERO Session and love the size and durablity of it. If you travel or do any kind of action sports, it is a great little device to have.

Sure, smartphones are fantastic with cameras but there are times I don’t want to whip out my very expensive camera in some situations. Being able to use a device as small and capable as the GoPro HERO5 Session is great to grab some photo or video on the go.
These work great for recording things in a more subtle way as well. Yes, the GoPro HERO 6 is out, but the HERO5 Session is still a great camera, especially since it is the first Session cam to have 4K onboard. It is currently $199 for a brand new model but you can get it as a manufacturer refurbished unit for just $119 – a great price for a great portable camera!
