Lufthansa First Class Review

A couple of weeks ago, I had the pleasure of flying Lufthansa’s A330-300 in First Class. It was my first time flying Lufthansa First Class and I really enjoyed it! I have some pictures and an overview of the trip and my experience in this post.

For small business week, Chase upped the bonus on their Chase Ink Plus and Ink Bold business cards from 50,000 Ultimate Reward points to 60,000 Ultimate Reward points. This is a very decent bonus upgrade since these extra points are worth, at the very least, $100 and more like $200 depending on the transfer partner. If you have not gotten in on this yet and have been thinking about it, the bonus was extended through tomorrow so sign-up!

Tuesday Tools and Tips: Staying Organized When Booking Travel

Booking travel can be very confusing. It can be difficult to remember all the different facets of your upcoming trip and then not forgetting any segments! Here are some of my tips I use to stay organized when booking travel.

Great Offer for Platinum Business Credit Card from American Express

Delta released a special, limited-time offer on their Delta Platinum Business credit card. This offer gives a total of 55,000 miles – 20,000 elite miles and 35,000 award miles. This is a great card and a fantastic offer! It expires July 7, 2013.

United Airlines – Change #1

Last week, United Airlines instituted some new changes to their elite/award program. One of the changes that had no advance notice had to do with fees in regards to when you make your award reservation, whether you change it, and if you have to cancel it. None of them are good!

Getting an Extra 10,000 UR Points

With the limited-time offer of the Chase Ink Bold and Ink Plus, Chase is offering a bonus of 60,000 Ultimate Reward points when you are approved for one of those cards. What happens if you already applied for the card? No problem – if you applied within the last 90 days, you should be able to get the difference in points!

Start Planning Your Boston Marathon Trip – SPG Edition

The Boston Marathon is still many months away but it is not too soon to start planning your hotel stays while there! Here is a list of some of the best SPG options and what it takes to get the points to stay in them. A must read if you are Boston-bound!

Check On Your American Express Application

If you have applied for an American Express credit card or charge card lately, here is how you can find out what the status is on it! It can be painful to wait – read this and you won’t have to wait for an answer in the mail!

Junk Mail Saturday

Only one offer this week, but a good one for Hyatt Chase credit card holders! Read about it and my analysis of it if you have received this offer recently.

In another addition to our Back to the Basics series, here is an in-depth post explaining how you can earn miles and points. It is easier than you think and there are quite a lot of ways to do it!
