Here is a deal that pops up every so often on a great watch – the Garmin Forerunner 310XT. It is a perfect watch for multi-sport athletes and sports long-lasting battery life. The deal price on this was $139. Don’t worry if you missed it this time – it will be back again!
Hilton really devalued a lot of their prize award destinations with an extremem hike in points required. In some cases, the increase was almost 100%! However, not all is lost – there are still some excellent values to be found, especially at the type of mid-tier hotels that marathon committees love to use as race hotels.
Many people ask me about some of the basics – like, can miles and points be traded between accounts? Are miles and points the same thing? Can points be made into miles? Here are some of the answers to those questions and more.
Here is another deal that is around quite often – 75,000 Membership Reward points after spending $10,000 in the first 4 months of card membership. The spending combined with the bonus equals a minimum of 85,000 Membership Reward points that can be used in a host of ways. My wife and I have each jumped on this offer at different times. Again, if you didn’t get in this time, it will be back around again!

If you have ever entertained the idea of staying at a high-end hotel, here are the best Hilton choices and the marathons that are near them. You may find some interesting marathons here and some really nice hotels that you can get for free!
