While Extended Stay America hotels are not a hotel chain that people travel to stay in, they certainly can fill some holes on the map for your travels! If you want to save money, use this 20% off code today to get a great deal!

I know, Extended Stay America is really not an aspirational chain of properties! However, travel is about more than the hotel and there are some destinations where you are not going to find a St. Regis or maybe even a Sheraton. You can make the choice to commute an hour or more or take advantage of the properties near your destination. If Extended Stay America hotels are some of those properties, then you can save 20% off their rates using the code below!

Save 20% At Extended Stay Hotels

I first stayed at an Extended Stay America hotel a couple of years ago. We were visiting some family and that ended up being our Priceline-chosen hotel for our stay! I knew going into the bidding that it would be that one and was actually relieved that I was right! We had stayed at other hotels in the same area in times past and I was trying to avoid all of them. Unfortunately, there were not any hotels that we had points for (mostly Wyndham or Choice properties) so we ended up paying to stay at Extended Stay America.

Contrary to the name, you do not need to just look at these hotels as long-term dwelling options. We stayed there for about 10 days but any length of time would work. The one we stayed at really surpassed my expectations as it was very clean and a comfortably sized room for our family. They come with a small kitchen area, the bed, a desk, some rooms have couches – really someplace that was certainly doable. Especially for the price!

Save 20% on stays at Extended Stay America!

So, if you do have a trip planned where an Extended Stay America could work out for you, then here is what you need to do to take advantage of a 20% discount.

  • Go to Extended Stay America
  • Enter your dates
  • Select Promotional Code from the Special Rates dropdown option
  • Enter code J5HP2 for 20% off
  • Code expires today (10/12)
  • Valid for stays from 1-30 nights
  • Must stay between October 12 – January 31, 2016
  • Discount is applied at checkout

Even though the discount is applied at checkout, the site will show you what your discounted rate will be. If you are unable to book by today, there is another code that takes 15% off and needs to be used by Sunday – J5HP5. And even if you miss that timeframe, these codes pop up every so often and I imagine we will see another one next month around this time.

So, if a point hotel is not an option and there is an Extended Stay America hotel nearby, consider it. While it was not a property that I would have necessarily highlighted for a review, it was certainly perfect for a lodging place that had everything we needed.

  • I stayed at one of their facilities once, once too many.
The checkout tme was earlier than any I had ever experienced and there was littlle give. The best offer was for me to pay the full hourly wages for two workers till my checkout which was 11 AM.
I felt that for an extended stay wthout breakfast in a room that was falling apart I could have done better elsewhere.

    • I certainly can see different locations operating differently. With a chain like this, I would guess that there is not significant effort to adhere to a higher brand uniformity. I know my experience was pleasant but I am sure there are others with experiences like yours as well.
