New Garmin Forerunner GPS Watches

Garmin Forerunner Watches
Written by Charlie

Garmin introduced their upgrades to their two most popular running watches – the FR610 and the FR210. The new watches are the FR620 and the FR220. They appear to not just be a bump in internal capabilities but a whole bunch of new features, especially for the FR620. From first looks, it appears that Garmin is positioning themselves well against the inevitable onslaught of smartwatches that are sure to hit the market in the coming months. One of the features that will be sought after on the smartwatches will be ability to have fitness tracking – these new Garmin GPS watches have some great methods of doing those things in addition to doing what they already do incredibly well.

These devices are not due to ship for 5-8 weeks. I can tell you right now that the first looks have convinced me that I will be selling my Garmin FR 910XT as soon as the FR620 hits the market!
