We are racing through the 2016 year for sure! I cannot believe how fast time flies – and how quickly things can change! At the start of the year, I had some definite plans laid out for the year and destinations to hit. Well, only one of those happened and many different things dropped in that I never saw coming! One of the great things about miles is that you can change like that without the huge costs of revenue tickets (and even get the fees waived if you are a top-tier elite). This next month should be a pretty busy one on the travel side for me!

Get 45 United Miles Per Dollar on Magazines (Buy Miles for 2.22 Cents Each)! – [Expired] This was a really nice deal that let you buy an unlimited number of miles at a cheaper cost than actually buying them – plus you got magazines! Earlier this year, you could get 50 AA miles per dollar so we will likely see more of these!

Today Only: 10% Boost On Cashback Earnings – [Expired] This was a nice little boost to get on your regular earnings. Even though it is expired, there is still time to get $10 back if you are a new customer.

Last Day: Use Points for a Trip to Antarctica – [Expired] This trip went for a huge 771,500 Starpoints! At a value of 2 cents per point, that is like spending $15,430 on a trip package that would regularly go for $26,000. Personally, I think that high price was too high since you can get Antarctica tours for much less. Still, a nice opportunity to only use points if you didn’t want to pay in cash!
