The best deal in hotel awards is here again – a fresh list of IHG PointBreaks – hotels that bring you a variety of properties for only 5,000 points per night. While it may not be full of ultra-high end hotels, the list can give you some excellent deals for travels. Here is what is available this time around for stays through October 31, 2016.

What To Look For on the List

Check out this post to see how to get the most value out of the PointBreaks lists that may seem unimpressive. This time around, though, there are certainly a few properties to take a look at. IHG has included two InterContinental hotels on this list (both regularly 25,000 points per night) – the InterContinental Phnom Penh (Cambodia) and the InterContinental Mendoza (Argentina).

There are also some Crowne Plaza hotels on the list, including the Crowne Plaza Panama, that could provide a nice place to crash while checking out the tourist sites. Also, do not forget to look for airport hotels (there are 7 on the US list this time) as those can be invaluable for either early/late flights or if you just need a room for a few hours during a long layover.

If you are running a race at all in the coming months, check your city of the race to see if there is a local hotel on this list. One that I noticed was the Holiday Inn Dayton/Fairborn. It could be a nice place if you plan on running the awesome Dayton Air Force Marathon (I ran it – awesome race!). It takes place September 17 and the hotel is just a short hop from the race.

Finally, a shout out for the Holiday Inn Buffalo International Airport. This is a nice spot if you have a flight out of Buffalo but also a nice option if you want to head to Niagara Falls. This hotel is only about 1 hour from the area I am from (which also has a PointsBreak hotel this time around – Rochester, NY) and there is a lot to see and do in the Western NY area so give it a look!
