Today is the final day for the limited-time increase of the Delta Skymiles Gold cards from American Express. Both the personal and business versions are at 50,000 miles after spending only $1,000 in 3 months AND a $50 statement credit. Plus, the annual fee is waived for the first year.

American Express has limited the sign-up bonuses on personal cards to once-in-a-lifetime, so if you have had the Delta Amex card before, you will not be eligible for the bonus this time. However, if you have not had the bonus on the business card in the last 12 months, you will be eligible to receive the bonus on the business card.

There are a lot of changes coming to the Skymiles program in 2015, but since you can use Skymiles at 1 cent per mile to pay for airfare directly on Delta, this offer is worth at least $500! For that kind of a bonus, I would definitely apply for this!

This offer is due to expire today, 12/21
