Happy Birthday!

To the blog, that is. Today marks the one-year anniversary of Running With Miles. It has been a thrill to have been able to help many people through this blog during that time. That was the reason I had started it – to be able to help people travel for less (or free!) as they made their way to races or places. Thank you for reading and following along! Later on today, I will have some of the posts that were read the most to help give a refresh on some of the things that seemed to help the most people.

First Blog Post on Running with Miles!

In the coming year, we will have a lot more help coming your way! I am constantly learning and will be doing some trips to help you get the most out of yours. I know that many people save points for years to be able to take that one special trip. I want to help make the choices for that special trip as informed and easy as possible. Airline travel can be something to be dreaded, but, when done with points in an informed fashion, the travel can become just the first fun part of the trip itself! I want to show you some of those fun travel parts and will be doing so in the first couple of months of the new year.

I will be doing more trip reviews and spreading my travel out among airlines to give you the best possible picture of what is available to you with points. In my first two trips of the year, I will be flying on the following airlines:

  • Cathay Pacific
  • Qatar Airways
  • Emirates Airways
  • British Airways
  • JetBlue
  • Delta
  • Brussels Airlines
  • Thai Airways
  • Malaysian Airlines
  • Singapore Airlines
  • Air Canada
  • and maybe one or two more… 🙂

Anyway, thanks for sticking around and I ask you to continue to do so (and maybe some of your friends!) as we transition into year 2 of Running With Miles! Thanks so much!
