Great New Amex Offers – Good Portal Stacking Options

Amex Offers
Written by Charlie

Here are some great new Amex Offers that will work great when you stack with portal payouts and the discounts they often run.

This morning, some new Amex Offers were loaded into my account. Yesterday, I saw the news about the Wal-Mart one but was not targeted on any of my accounts for it.

Great New Amex Offers

Getting the Offers

Log in to your American Express account and scroll down to the bottom. You will see Amex Offers For You. Select it and add the offers you want to your card. Make sure you make note of which card you save it to.

To maximize itadd the offer to separate cards, simply login to your American Express account and then choose to duplicate the tab (if using Google Chrome) as many times as you have cards. Once they are all open, select a different Amex card in each tab and select to save the offer to the card.

Make sure you save these offers as soon as you can – using the tip above to maximize – as they are limited enrollment and when they are gone, they are gone! Even if they disappear, as long as you have saved the offer, you are all set.

Backcountry

Amex Offers

  • Spend $75, get $20 back
  • Expires 1/1/2016
  • Valid online only

Why This Offer Is Great

I picked up 25,000 American Airline miles through Backcountry by only purchasing 2 GPS watches and 2 GoPros recently. This is because of amazing portal payouts by Backcountry and a portal promo. Backcountry normally will have some really good portal payouts so stacking this Amex Offer with those payouts can result in some real earnings and savings.

If a portal does not pop up before this is going to expire, just buy a gift card for later. They are currently at only 5/6 miles/points per dollar for Backcountry but, if it is like last year, that should hike up closer to Christmas. Keep checking here for the portals.

Sports Authority

Amex Offers

  • Spend $50, get $10 back
  • Expires 12/31/2015
  • Valid in-store and online

Why This Offer Is Great

This store also sees some portal payout hikes but also, it often sees big discounts through the busy shopping seasons. If you want sports gear, get this one saved and sign-up for their e-mails to find out when the discounts hit.

ExxonMobil [targeted]

Amex Offers

  • Spend $30, get $10 back
  • Expires 12/31/2015
  • Valid at pump only
  • Was only on one of my cards

As gas offers go, this one is excellent! You are essentially getting 33% back on a tank-full (or less, obviously depending on the kind of car you have!) of gas! I just wish this worked in Europe where, even with the low Euro and diesel being cheaper than gas, I am paying $4.50 a gallon. Much better than it used to be but still!

  • Well if you can’t quite make it to $30 worth of gas, buy a couple of lottery tickets while you are there. It’s all Mobile on the receipt.

    • The Exxon Mobil offer requires you pay the bill directly from the pump. Two year ago, I used a Shell Amex offer on the way to Chicago but the pump couldn’t accept payment so I paid the bill to the cashier. I didn’t got any Amex offer credit on this and I learn the lesson.

  • Thanks for your notice. I picked up 7 ExxonMobil Amex Offers although not sure how to use them all. I still have trouble to use all my Kroger fuel points by end of year. I just accumulated 3K+ Kroger fuel points thanks to Kroger 4X for gift card purchase and I have issues to use them by end of December. My daily commute is less than 6 miles round trip. Probably I can use Exxon offer while I am on vacation after Christmas since I will not be able find a Kroger Gas station near Hilton Head area.
