Get a great deal on two products I use for travel all the time – nice earphones (good for running too!) and a great laptop!

Here are two great deals that I saw today that are for items I currently use for travel and wanted to share with you. Both of these deals are the lowest prices on these items and they are both products I use and love.

Great Deals: Bose Earphones and Apple MacBook

Bose SoundSport Earphones

Bose SoundSport

Great deal on great earphones!

Last year, I purchased some Bose earphones at a great price. Fast forward a few months and they had broken down. Turns out they weren’t really intended for the sweat that goes with running (and I used them to run with every single day). Fortunately, Bose has an incredible warranty program and even gave me the option to upgrade to the more sweat-resistant Bose SoundSport Earphones.

These are typically around $135. For some reason, the Green pair for Android phones is on sale for $99 (on many sites, not just NewEgg). I have the iOS pair as it gives me volume controls that work for my iPhone. However, if you do not care about the volume controls or you have an Android phone, this pair will be fantastic for you! It is available on NewEgg for the $99 price plus another $20 off using the code below.

  • NewEgg for Bose SoundSport Earphones – $99
  • Add to cart and then use code EMCAWKX23 t0 take another $20 off
  • You can pay using American Express Checkout for $10 statement credit
  • Total price – $69

These are great earphones and I use them every day for my runs and for travel. They sit comfortably and the sound is good.

MacBook – $1,149

Great deal on an awesome MacBook!

A couple of months ago, I flipped my MacBook Air to replace it with the new MacBook for my travels and my everyday computer when I am out. Since Apple used a new keyboard in this MacBook (instead of what they use in their other laptops) and because it was using a different processor than found in the current crop of MacBook Airs, I was unsure whether I would like them computer.

In short, I absolutely love it! Granted, I do not do anything heavy on it (like editing work) as I have another computer at the house I use for things like that. However, I have been able to do just about anything on this nice 12″ laptop that I need to – including importing RAW photos and doing a bit of editing. I love the Retina screen and the keyboard is a real treat to use. When I am on the move, it is the computer I use for all of my stuff and I really do love it.

This price today from eBay is the best price for a new one that I have seen. With the regular retail price of $1,299, this presents a huge price cut on a recently released Apple product at $1,149! You can select your color – Gray (my color), Silver, or Gold – and the rest of it contains a 256GB SSD and 8GB of RAM with a 1.1 GHz processor.

I will say that it may not be for everyone. But, if you need a compact computer that will get the job done for you and last quite a while with the battery, this can be your computer. I really enjoy mine.

Don’t forget to sign-up for eBay Bucks if you are not already! You will earn another $22.98 in a rebate to use later! If you have recently bought eBay gift cards with the deals that have been running (such as the recent Target deal for $100 card for $90) you can get an even better deal!
