6 miles per dollar at Apple

Shop at Apple today and earn a lot of airline miles for doing it! Earn up to 9 miles per dollar on many things from Apple, but only today!

This year, there have been more one day boosts for mile promos with Apple than I remember in years past. And that is good news for Apple fans! The nice thing is that if you are in the market for some new piece of Apple gear, like the iPhone 8 or 8 Plus, you can take advantage of this limited-time promo to earn a nice bundle of miles!

Today Only: Earn 6 Miles Per Dollar at Apple

Here are the terms of this 6 miles per dollar at Apple promo:

  • iPhone X, Apple Watch Series 3 and Apple TV 4K are not eligible.
  • Newly released products may not be eligible.
  • Additional products not eligible are: gift cards, gift wrap, Bose products, and expedited shipping.
  • Eligible only to a customer for up to five (5) units per eligible product, except iPhone, in which case only two (2) units within a thirty-day (30-day) period are eligible.
  • Employee Purchase Plan sites are not eligible.
  • Not eligible on purchases made with coupon or discount codes that are not found on this site.
  • Not eligible on gift cards, gift certificates or any other similar cash equivalents.

Of course, this promo will not work if you want the iPhone X (which is already backordered so you probably wouldn’t be ordering right now anyway), but it also excludes the Apple Watch Series 3. That is a bit surprising since it came out at the same time as the iPhone 8 and is not backordered. But, it may still be something Apple figures is very popular and they want to not reward buyers of it. Stay tuned for an overview of the Apple Watch Series 3 vs Garmin this week!

But, things like MacBooks, iMacs, iPads, and the iPhones all the way up through the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus are eligible!

If you have not already taken advantage of this AAdvantage shopping portal promo for holiday shopping, you can also earn up to 4,000 bonus miles! Let’s see what this promo and the Apple promo could net you in terms of AA miles:

  • Buy $1,200+ worth of Apple products (not hard since that would be a single MacBook or a couple of iPhones, etc)
  • Earn 7,200 base AA miles with today’s promo
  • Earn the 4,000 mile bonus for spending at least $1,200
  • Total – 11,200 American Airline miles – 9.3 miles per dollar if you spend $1,200!

That is not a bad haul at all, for Apple gear! If you are waiting for Black Friday sales, Apple generally doesn’t offer anything really attractive but their resellers may. If you were to buy today, you would have 14 days from the time of delivery to return most products from Apple. That means you will be coming up just short of Black Friday sales (unless you were to wait until just before the end of today and it goes out tomorrow for Thursday delivery – Thanksgiving would be the 14 days). So, it is up to you!

Personally, I think we will see some decent deals on iPads of around $100 from retailers like Best Buy, especially on the iPad Minis. We may see $150 on the iPad Pros with maybe the Apple Pencil thrown in. iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus may also have some deals like gift cards thrown in. As for computers, I think we will also see discounts of around $100 on the entry level models.

So, if you want an iPhone or a more specced out Mac, I would say order now. If you want an entry level Apple computer or iPad, I would saw to wait.
