Great Deal: 20% Off Electronics On Cowboom, A Best Buy Site [Tablets, Computers, Apple Watches, & More]

Written by Charlie

Cowboom is a great site to get good discounts on electronics. Now it is even better with this 20% off sale. As a Best Buy brand, it is a good place to shop and save!

Advertiser Disclosure

Ok, you may never have heard about Cowboom before but don’t write it off! It is a Best Buy website where a lot of their returns, open box units, used items, etc. end up. I have been buying from them for years and only once have I had to send something back because it did not work as advertised – and returns are handled quickly and without question!

So, now that you may feel a little better about it, check out this great deal! For two days only, you can get an additional discount on already discounted electronics – 20% off! You will find many laptops, desktops, gaming systems, camera items – even smartwatches like the Apple Watch – on this site.

Extra Savings

Make sure you go through a portal to save even more! Check out cashbackmonitor for the best options. If you are interested in cashback, topcashback is offering 3% back on items from Cowboom.

Sale Details

Here are the details of this sale:

  • 20% off using code SAVE20
  • Can use once (though it works on multiple items in the same order)
  • Cannot be used on deals of the day, auctions, or items sold/shipped by BestBuy.com
  • 2 day sale (starting 1/18)

To apply the discount code, you will need to sign in to your account or make an account. Cowboom does charge tax but the TopCashBack should help that be offset a bit.

Product Condition

Just know, cowboom uses a grading system for the condition of their items. Make sure you read the description carefully for each individual item. But, even for items marked “FAIR” I have still received items in excellent shape. One recent example was a 11″ MacBook Air (2014 model) that I got for around $470 (can’t remember the exact price). It was marked FAIR but it was in perfect condition and only had 4 battery cycles on it (this was about 9 months ago).

The last sale, I bought a couple of the Apple Watch models below and they were in pristine condition even though they were marked “FAIR” so you can get some great deals!

Cowboom

This is $300 less than retail for this watch!

Many items go quickly but since this sale runs for a couple of days, you should have a good shot at getting some more chances over the next few days. I have found that they are pretty good about getting new stock (as in new to the site, not new condition) quickly.

Some of the items you may want to consider are:

  • Laptops
  • Tablets
  • Desktops
  • Cameras
  • MP3 Players
  • Gaming Consoles
  • Watches

Word of note: Apple is rumored to come out with an Apple Watch 2 in a few months. If you want the current model, these will be some of the best prices for a while. Otherwise, you may want to wait.

Summary

Discounts like these are great to put some great gear in your hand (or home) and keep some cash in your pocket. I have bought from them many times and always get great deals. Plus, you may even find some things that you can buy and resell at a profit. This is a great way to meet minimum spending on any cards you currently have while turning a bit of a profit. As an example, the watch I featured above is selling for a minimum of $380 on eBay!
