Free $25 in Uber Credit for New Accounts

Uber
Written by Charlie

Uber is the car service that connects people with professional drivers through their apps. You order a car to your location and handle the charges and gratuity through your saved credit card on the app – no worry about using money! I have hesitated to write about it so far because I have yet to try Uber (due to my not having been in a city lately that Uber serves AND needing a car) but will hopefully try it soon! However, with a deal like this, I wanted to get it out there.

Uber

Uber often has referral credits where you can sign-up and receive some free money (like $10) and so can the referrer. I do not have any referral links for Uber and just want to get this code out to you before it is all taken, so just worry about getting the $25 for free today! Amazon Local is offering a $25 voucher for Uber – free! No payment or card necessary! Then, just apply the code to your Uber account and apply it towards your next drive! Here is the link for the free $25: Amazon Local (I do not receive any commission for referral for this link)

Here are the terms (as copied from Amazon Local):

  • Issued by Uber
  • Valid for new customers only
  • Limit 1 coupon per customer
  • Coupon valid for rides via uberX, UberBLACK, or UberSUV only; customers cannot redeem coupon for rides via uberTAXI
  • Customers must create an Uber account and provide valid credit card information to sign up for service and redeem coupon
  • Coupon value will be applied toward customer’s account
  • Coupon valid toward 1 ride only; any unused portion of the coupon value will be forfeited. If ride total exceeds $25, remaining balance will be charged to the credit card associated with the account
  • Distance restrictions apply. Please reference the Uber service map of your city for additional information
  • Uber car service fares are all-inclusive. There is no need to tip
  • Not valid toward previously scheduled rides
  • Available for use beginning immediately after coupon is claimed
  • PROMOTIONAL VALUE EXPIRES FOLLOWING FEBRUARY 28, 2014

If you are not too familiar with it, still grab a code today! It is free and you will wish you had it when you try out Uber sometime! I am looking forward to using it in Dubai next month and will report on my experience then. To give an example on cost, I already did a quote for the ride I will need and it is under the $25 credit this gives! I can tell you, a service like this can be very valuable for out-of-town races! Enjoy!

    • Yes, that is what it says in the terms in the post as well. To prevent confusion, I will make note of that in the title.
