To get these Starpoints for referrals, you will need to refer people to sign-up for this offer and with each successful conversion, you will receive 5,000 Starpoints up to 55,000 points in a calendar year. Here are the details:
- The personal and business card they will receive an offer for is to receive 25,000 Starpoints after spending $3,000 in 3 months

The New Bonus Structure On The Personal Card
The news came earlier this week that the SPG Amex consumer card restructured how their bonus was earned. I am personally not a big fan of the restructuring because it shortens the timeframe cardholders have to earn the bonus and eliminates the awarding of the 10,000 points with first purchase. This same earning structure exists for the business card through the referral program.
But, I know that my feelings on that are not exactly share by everyone! Obviously, there are many who are excited about this new structure and the lower threshold necessary to earn the points. But, if you are a current cardholder, there is way that you can earn up to 55,000 points just for getting your friends and family members to sign up!
