It seems as if American Express just keeps putting out some great offers. This one appeared a couple of days ago and is a really good one – it basically allows you to get 10% cashback at Best Buy. Not bad!

Earn $25 Back on Best Buy Purchase of $250 or More

This deal not only works in store but also works online. That means that you can go through another shopping portal to earn more points with your purchase. Now, what to get? 🙂

Best Buy

What To Get?

There is something that I was surprised that some people did not know – Best Buy pricematches Amazon’s prices. That’s right, you can get any Amazon price at your local Best Buy just by showing them the price (or they can look it up). Just make sure that it is being sold directly by Amazon or it will not work. So, that is one way to be able to get electronics at their lowest possible prices.

Another great use is gift cards. Best Buy sells Amazon Kindle gift cards which can be loaded on to your Amazon account just like any other. In addition to Amazon, they have a wide variety of other gift cards as well. This is a nice way to get 10% off on these cards, but it will not work on e-gift cards.

Signing Up

Signing up for this is the same as the other Amex Offers that have been posted. Sign in to your account and then go to the bottom of the page for Amex Offers for You. Select that and drop the list to see the Best Buy option.

Save it to your card and you are ready to go!

  • I did not know that Best Buy would match the Amazon price. Have you ever tried to have a price matched on something that is only available online, not in a retail store? (Sold by both Amazon and Best Buy, not Marketplace/3rd party resellers.)
